John Kramer is proving once again that he’s not the man to cheat in the worldwide debut of the red band trailer for the upcoming interquel, ‘Saw X.’ Lionsgate released the trailer today, in anticipation of the horror thriller’s theatrical release on September 29.

‘Saw X’ was written by Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. The duo reunited for the upcoming film after they co-scribed the franchise’s last two installments, ‘Jigsaw’ and ‘Spiral.’ The series’ tenth entry was directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously helmed ‘Saw VI’ and ‘Saw 3D.’

Tobin Bell reprises his role of the infamous John Kramer, who’s also known as the serial killer Jigsaw, in ‘Saw X.’ He’s joined on screen by fellow franchise star Shawnee Smith, as well as series newcomers Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach and Renata Vaca.

In ‘Saw X,’ John Kramer is back, and tells the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of ‘Saw’ and ‘Saw II,’ a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer. But once he arrives, he discovers the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable people. Armed with a newfound purpose, John returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through a series of ingenious and terrifying traps.
