Patriocracy Exclusive Trailer Features Filmmaker Brian Malone Embarking on a Non-partisan Examination of Washington Dysfunction

The most vital way that Americans can stay informed about how politics influence their lives is through a non-partisan examination of Washington dysfunction. Many citizens are feeling angry and disgusted because their politicians and newscasters are talking at, instead of with, each other, and don’t engage in unbiased discussions. The upcoming documentary, ‘Patriocracy,’ is encouraging, and allowing, people to be informed on all sides of the political spectrum.

Global Digital Releasing is set to distribute the movie worldwide on November 17, 2023. In honor of the project’s unveiling, Film Factual is exclusively premiering the new official trailer for the project.

Brian Malone served as the director, cinematographer, editor and a producer on ‘Patriocracy.’ The documentary features such notable Washington personalities as Alan Simpson, Bob Schieffer, Eleanor Clift, Pat Buchanan, Senator Mark Warner and Senator Kent Conrad, who offer their valuable perspectives. They also illustrate the forces that drive a wedge into the middle ground of America and the solutions required to move forward.

Malone has released the following statement about ‘Patriocracy’:

“It’s time to raise the level in intellect in our public discourse. There are shortages of opinions. And you know what they say about opinions. There has been enough yelling and not enough listening. And if we do not learn to listen to each other and find some way to work together as a country, America will fail. The problem today is that in America, we have freedom without responsibility. Many of us Americans believe we’re entitled to our rights and freedoms unconditionally. And that’s where the trouble begins. The truth is that American freedom comes with great responsibility. You can read anything about our Founding Fathers and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

:But today, we live in a hyper-fast, hyper-partisan climate fueled by a ‘me first’ perspective and lightning fast media. The dark side of that self- centered position is that America as a whole is suffering. In many cases, Americans have neither the will nor the desire for self-sacrifice towards a greater good in America. I’m not talking about big events like the War on Terror. No, these are little things that hold our country together… like paying our taxes in order to take responsibility for all of the services we get from our government.

“So, really the problems we face in America come down to our state of mind. At the risk of sounding like a socialist, I do believe that there needs to be more ‘we’ and less ‘me.’ We do have some very big problems to solve in a short amount of time. And ‘we’ need to base our decisions to fix these problems on well-researched and credible facts, rather than emotions and opinions. If we don’t ‘we’ will likely lose our great gift of living in the greatest country on the planet.

“And, in the meantime, nothing gets solved if we yell at each other instead of talking to and listening to each other.”
