Actress Sophia Medley’s protagonist of Katie is learning how to overcome the insecurities that are linked to her romantic fantasies in the upcoming comedy series, ‘Sexpectations.’ Determined to overcome the fact that her sex life is pure fiction, the main character in the six-episode romantic comedy, who’s an aspiring romance novelist, sets out on a quest to lose her virginity for her literature. She becomes even more resolute in her mission when she learns that she’s getting published and needs a crash course in sex.
‘Sexpectations’ is set to be released on Apple TV and Amazon on October 23, courtesy of Bitmax. In honor of the show’s premiere, Film Factual is premiering the official trailer for the project.
In addition to Medley, ‘Sexpectations’ also features an ensemble cast that includes Jenna St. John and Sky King. The series was written by St. John and Medley, and directed by Kevin Good. St. John, Medley and Good also served as producers on the comedy.
