The best way for people to survive both harrowing planetary and societal changes is to band together with those who truly care about them. That’s certainly the case for a group of childhood friends in the new sci-fi thriller, ‘The Gravity.’
Dark Star Pictures is distributing the movie in theaters today, November 10. The drama’s theatrical release will be followed by a digital and On Demand distribution this Tuesday, November 14. In honor of the project’s release, Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the feature, which had its world premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival this past September.
The thriller was written and directed by Cédric Ido. The movie stars Jean-Baptiste Anoumon, Max Gomis, Steve Tientcheu, Oliver Rosemberg, Thierry Godard and Hafsia Herzi.
‘The Gravity’ follows a mysterious alignment of planets as it sets the sky ablaze and worries all the inhabitants of the city. A band of teenagers, The Ronins, rule the city and see this planetary event as the possibility of a new era. Daniel (Gomis), Joshua (Tientcheu) and Christophe (Anoumon), three childhood friends who have been separated by drug dealing and prison, must unite to confront this gang. After that night, when the sky turned blood red, nothing will ever be the same again.
