The further people journey to find the place where they feel like they belong, the more they realize that their true home is in their heart. That’s certainly true for activist and model Aleksandra Orbeck-Nilssen in the upcoming adventure documentary, ‘The Long Walk.’
The movie is set to be released this Tuesday, November 28. In honor of the feature’s distribution, Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the project.
Orbeck-Nilssen wrote the movie with its director, Pierre Stine. ‘The Long Walk’ follows the activist as she’s accompanied by her two Ju/’hoansi bushmen friends, Cui and Kamache, on a journey of self-discovery and survival. The documentary chronicles them as they walk 1490 km (approximately 925 miles) across the wilderness of the Southern African country of Namibia to reach the Atlantic Ocean.
