Stranger in the Woods Become Deadly Predators in Psychological Thriller’s Official Trailer

Predators – both animal and human – are out on the loose hunting, killing and trapping their prey in the woods. At least, that’s what actress Holly Kenney’s protagonist of Liv believes in the newly released trailer for her upcoming psychological thriller, ‘Stranger in the Woods.’

The film’s distributor, Red Hound Entertainment, has unveiled the trailer, as well as the poster, for the feature. The company will release on VOD this Valentine’s Day, February 14. The feature’s official distribution comes after it won 48 awards on the film festival circuit, including Best Indie Feature at the Cannes World Film Festival; Best Indie Feature at the New York International Film Awards; and Best Picture at the Los Angeles Film Awards.

‘Stranger in the Woods’ was produced by Kyle Newacheck, who’s known for producing and directing Comedy Central’s ‘Workaholics’ and FX’s ‘What We Do in the Shadows.’ He was joined on the movie by his brother Adam Newacheck, who made his feature film directorial debut on the project. The drama is the first feature they made together through their production company, Newacheck Brothers Production.

In addition to starring in the horror thriller, Kenney also wrote the projet. She’s joined on screen by Brendin Brown (‘Murder Mystery’), T.A. Spencer (‘Studio City Kings,’ ‘Workaholics’), Devon Stewart (‘Hacks,’ Apple TV’s ‘Truth Be Told,’ ‘Not Dead Yet’) and Paris Nicole (‘White Men Can’t Jump’).

‘Stranger In the Woods’ follows Liv as she goes on a weekend getaway trip to the woods with her friends in hopes to recover from a traumatic event. But when her dog vanishes, their sanity unravels, leading to a chilling fight for survival.
