It’s better to day dream about starting a better life than to live a lie. That’s certainly true for actor Don Shala’s protagonist of Ben in the upcoming romantic drama, ‘I Love You More.’
The film is set to be released in select theaters in L.A., New York and Palm Springs on Friday, February 9. The movie’s theatrical distribution will be followed by a VOD and physical release the following Tuesday, February 13. In honor of the drama’s distribution, Dark Star Pictures has released a trailer for the feature.
‘I Love You More’ was written, directed and produced by Erblin Nushi. In addition to Shala, the film also stars Luan Jaha, Leonik Sahiti and Irena Aliu.
In ‘I Love You More,’ after a year of online dating, Ben, a shy Kosovar teen, is exhilarated to finally meet his first (but secret) love, Leo (Sahiti). Consumed with passion, Ben carefully weaves the plans and cover-story for his much-desired romantic tryst with Leo, who is arriving from Germany in just one month. Everything must be perfect.
But Ben becomes shocked when his mother surprises him and the family with a life changing opportunity. He just can’t take the chance yet, as he’s determined to meet Leo in-person first.
