Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist are mastering and serving up the art of seduction towards Zendaya in the first official clip from the anticipated romantic sports film, ‘Challengers.’ Amazon MGM Studios has released the clip from the drama, which is titled ‘Asking For Your Number.’
Amazon MGM Studios is set to release the movie only in theaters on April 26. ‘Challengers’ was written by Justin Kuritzkes. The film was directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Luca Guadagnino, who also served as a producer. His fellow producers on the drama include Amy Pascal, on behalf of her production company, Pascal Pictures, as well as Zendaya and Rachel O’Connor.
‘Challengers’ follows Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Faist), Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (O’Connor) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win?
