Behind every perfect couple lies a twist. Actress Sasha Pieterse is learning that the hard way, as her life has become a twisted tale of deception and desire in the upcoming thriller, ‘The Image of You.’
Republic Pictures and Paramount Global Content Distribution are set to release the film in select theaters and on Digital on Friday, May 10. In honor of the drama’s release, the distributors have premiered the feature’s official trailer and poster.
Besides Pieterse, ‘The Image of You’ also stars Parker Young (‘Imposters’), Nestor Carbonell (‘The Dark Knight Rises’) and Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino (‘Mighty Aphrodite’). The movie was directed by Jeff Fisher (‘My Christmas Love’). The feature was written by Chris Sivertson, who based the screenplay on the bestselling 2017 novel of the same name by Adele Parks.
‘The Image of You’ follows identical twins Anna and Zoe (both played by Pieterse) as they find their bond tested over Anna’s new love, Nick (Young). While the trusting Anna is head over heels, her skeptical sister Zoe senses a web of deceit. But as Zoe digs for the truth, they’re all pulled into a dangerous game where honesty could prove fatal.
