Her dream was to be a star and to be famous. But Maxine is learning that Hollywood can be a killer in the new poster and official trailer for the upcoming crime horror film, ‘MaXXXine.’ A24 has released the poster and trailer for the drama in anticipation of the feature’s distribution on Friday, July 5.
Ti West wrote and directed ‘MaXXXine’ after he penned and helmed the feature’s two predecessors, ‘X’ and ‘Pearl.’ The filmmaker also edited the trilogy’s third installment.
West also produced ‘MaXXXine’ with Jacob Jaffke, Kevin Turen, Harrison Kreiss and lead actress, Mia Goth. In addition to Goth, the upcoming movie also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.
‘MaXXXine’ follows the titular character (Goth) as she finally gets her big break in Hollywood in 1985. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Tinseltown, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
