Some family generations become separated by cultural differences and geographic locations over time, but their passions ultimately reunite them. That’s certainly true for the Keushguerian family, who are featured in the new documentary, ‘SOMM: Cup of Salvation.’

Samuel Goldwyn Films is set to distribute the feature in theaters, On Digital and On-Demand this Friday, June 28. In honor of the project’s release, Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the movie.

The film is the fourth installment in the acclaimed ‘SOMM’ series, which is directed by Jason Wise. The helmer also co-wrote and produced the new movie with Christina Wise. The documentary features Vahe Keushguerian, Aimee Keushguerian, Moe Momtazi, Naseem Momtazi and Dustin Wilson.

‘SOMM: Cup of Salvation’ chronicles the transformative power of wine. The film follows the compelling journey of a father and daughter, Vahe and Aimee Keushguerian, as they endeavor to revive the ancient grape varieties of their homeland in Armenia. Their mission takes them through the rugged, war-torn Caucasus Mountains and into the clandestine vineyards of Iran, highlighting the intersection of wine, religion, politics and family.
