Acclaimed actor Billy Howle is breaking free from the cycle of loss and regret that has plagued his titular character in the new drama, ‘Kid Snow.’ The protagonist is determined to prove his worth as the best tent boxer in outback Western Australia in the 1970s.

Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the Australian feature. The clip’s debut comes as Samuel Goldwyn Films is distributing the movie in theaters and On Digital and On Demand in the U.S. today, February 14, 2025.

Howle’s co-star, Phoebe Tonkin (The CW’s hit series ‘The Originals’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’) was recently nominated for Best Actress at this year’s AACTA Awards, Australia’s equivalent to the Oscars, for her role as Sunny in ‘Kid Snow.’ Her nomination for the movie follows its premiere at the Sydney Film Festival.

John Brumpton and Stephen Cleary wrote ‘Kid Snow,’ which was directed by Paul Goldman. Besides Howle and Tonkin, the drama also stars Tom Bateman.
