Only when you embrace death will it pass you by. That’s certainly the case for the main characters in the latest chapter in the hit supernatural horror film franchise, ‘Final Destination.’
The protagonists are being taken back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice in the sequel’s new official trailer. ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ trailer was released today by Warner Bros. Pictures. The distributor is set to unveil the series’ sixth entry in theaters and IMAX on May 16.
The drama was directed by Adam Stein (‘Freaks,’ ‘Kim Possible’) and Zach Lipovsky (‘Freaks,’ ‘Kim Possible’). The screenplay was written by Guy Busick (‘Ready or Not,’ ‘Scream’) and Lori Evans Taylor (‘Cellar Door,’ ‘Bed Rest’). The movie’s story was created by Jon Watts (‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ ‘Cop Car’), Busick and Taylor. The script is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick (‘Final Destination’ franchise).
In ‘Final Destination Bloodlines,’ college student Stefanie is plagued by a violent recurring nightmare. So she heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.
‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana (‘The Friendship Game,’ ‘The Flash’), Teo Briones (‘Chucky’ ‘Will vs. The Future’), Richard Harmon (‘The Age of Adaline,’ ‘The 100’), Owen Patrick Joyner (‘Julie and the Phantoms,’ ‘100 Things to Do Before High School’), Anna Lore (‘They/Them,’ ‘Gotham Knights’) and Brec Bassinger (‘Stargirl,’ ‘Bella and the Bulldogs’). The late Tony Todd (‘Final Destination’ franchise, ‘Candyman’) makes one of his final film appearances in the series’ fifth follow-up.
‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ was produced by Craig Perry (‘Final Destination’ franchise, ‘American Pie’ franchise), Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, (‘Atlanta,’ ‘Cop Car’) and Toby Emmerich (‘The Flash’ ‘The Butterfly Effect’). The executive producers were David Siegel and Warren Zide.
