‘The Woman in the Yard’s home release contains exclusive bonus features when purchased at participating retailers, including Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Microsoft Movies & TV, and Movies Anywhere. Those features include ‘Making The Woman in the Yard,’ which brings viewers through the darkest corners of the movie during a behind-the-scenes journey where filmmakers work with cast to craft a story that’s both haunting and human. The other feature is ‘Beneath the Veil,’ in which cast and filmmakers lift the veil on the movie’s frightening figure for a revealing look at the themes, designs and styles that shape her eerie specter into a powerful presence.

Jaume Collet-Serra (‘The Shallows,’ ‘Carry On’) directed, and Sam Stefanak (‘F Is for Family,’ ‘The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia’) wrote, ‘The Woman in the Yard.’ The drama stars Danielle Deadwyler (‘Till,’ ‘I Saw the TV Glow‘), Okwui Okpokwasili (‘I Am Legend,’ ‘Exorcist: The Believer‘), Peyton Jackson (‘Best Foot Forward,’ ‘Nobody’s Fool’), Estella Kahiha (‘Fantasy Football,’ ‘The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry’) and Russell Hornsby (‘The Hate U Give,’ ‘Lincoln Heights’).

The thriller was produced by Blumhouse founder and CEO Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain. ‘The Woman in the Yard’ was executive produced by Deadwyler, Collet-Serra and Gabrielle Ebron.

‘The Woman in the Yard’ follows Ramona (Deadwyler), a woman crippled by grief after she survives a car accident that takes her husband David (Hornsby). Seriously injured, Ramona now must care for their 14-year-old son Taylor (Jackson) and 6-year-old-daughter Annie (Kahiha), alone in her rural farmhouse.

Then one day the woman takes form in their yard. Ramona assumes the woman (Okpokwasili) is lost or mentally ill. But as the woman creeps closer to the house, it becomes clear she’s no ordinary figure, and her intentions are anything but peaceful. Now Ramona must rally to protect herself and her children from the grasp of the woman who simply won’t leave them alone.
