Giveaway: Enter to Win a Digital Code For Drop

First dates can be rough – and deadly – for the most unsuspecting victims. Actress Meghann Fahy is learning that terrifying message in this spring’s hit action thriller, ‘Drop.’

The movie was released on Digital platforms this week (Tuesday, April 29). It will also be released on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on June 10, 2025 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

In honor of ‘Drop’s digital release, Film Factual is offering two lucky winners a digital code to watch the project on Movie Anywhere Redeem. To enter the giveaway, follow us on Facebook or X (also find us using @FilmFactualSite on both websites), or me, Karen Benardello, on Instagram. DM us on any account and let us know that you’re entering to win the ‘Drop’ digital code giveaway in the message and subject.

You have until Friday, May 16, 2025 to enter. On May 16, we’ll pick the winners at random, and notify them through DM on each account. Good luck!

‘Drop’s home release contains exclusive bonus features when purchased at participating retailers, including Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Microsoft Movies & TV, and Movies Anywhere. The Bonus Features include ‘A Recipe For Thrills: Making Drop,’ which follows the cast and crew as they sort through the ingredients of this date gone wrong; ‘A Palate For Panic,’ which divulges the details that went into creating Palate, a film set that doubles as a fully operational restaurant; ‘Killer Chemistry,’ during which Fahy and fellow star Brandon Sklenar discuss their characters’ first date and how they managed to keep Violet and Henry grounded throughout the escalation of events; and feature commentary with director Christopher Landon.

Besides Fahy and Sklenar, the thriller also stars Violett Beane and Jeffery Self. The movie was produced by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller of Platinum Dunes, as well as Blumhouse Productions‘ founder and CEO, Jason Blum. The film was written by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach.

‘Drop’ follows Violet (Fahy), a widowed mother who has worked up the courage to go on her first date in years with charming photographer Henry (Sklenar). The couple’s instant chemistry is interrupted by a series of anonymous messages to Violet’s phone showing a masked intruder entering her home and ordering her to follow a series of instructions. She must do exactly as she’s told or her loved ones will die. Her unseen tormentor’s final directive to her is to kill Henry.
