Everything is coming full circle for actor Jonathan Bailey, who’s fulfilling a lifelong dream by playing clarinet on the official movie score for the highly anticipated ‘Jurassic World Rebirth.’ To highlight the actor’s journey contributing to the score, Universal Pictures has debuted a new featurette for the epic action-adventure film, titled ‘Jonathan Bailey Joins the Orchestra.’
The featurette’s premiere comes before the drama’s release in theaters this Wednesday, July 2. Tickets for the standalone sequel to ‘Jurassic World Dominion‘ may be purchased on the ‘Jurassic World’ series’ official website.
The upcoming feature was directed by BAFTA winning filmmaker, Gareth Edwards (‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’). The movie was written by original ‘Jurassic Park‘ screenwriter, David Koepp. ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ is set three years after the conclusion of the original ‘Jurassic World’ trilogy.
Steven Spielberg, who helmed the first two entries in the franchise, served as an executive producer on the series’ latest installment. In addition to Bailey, the drama stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain and Ed Skrein.
‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ follows skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Johansson), who’s contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure sought-after genetic material. Things don’t go according to plan when her operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinosaurs.
As a result, they all find themselves stranded on a forbidden island that had once housed an undisclosed research facility for Jurassic Park. There, in a terrain populated by dinosaurs of vastly different species, they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that has been hidden from the world for decades.
