Actresses Hayley McFarland and Sharmita Bhattacharya are being hunted by a dark force that twists fear into reality in the new psychological thriller, ‘We’re Not Safe Here.’ The chilling tale that McFarland’s character relays about what happened to her when she vanished intensifies the sense of dread between the two women.

That sense of unease is amplified in the newly released movie. The project is now playing in select theaters, as well as on digital and On Demand, courtesy of Saban Films. In honor of the drama’s premiere, Film Factual is debuting an exclusive clip from the feature.

Solomon Gray wrote and directed ‘We’re Not Safe Here.’ The filmmaker also produced the project with Sonny Malhi. In addition to McFarland and Bhattacharya, the thriller also stars Margaret Wuertz and Caisey Cole.

‘We’re Not Safe Here’ follows Neeta (Bhattacharya), a teacher suffering from a creative block. When her fellow educator, Rachel (McFarland), needs to talk one evening, Neeta welcomes her to her home for a much-needed conversation. But Neeta soon becomes stunned by Rachel’s story, and must find a way to overcome her newfound anxiousness.
