
Finding the right balance between pursuing a successful family life and a career can be challenging for anyone striving to secure their sense of identity. That’s certainly the case for the protagonists of the new psychological thriller, ‘Die My Love.’
Mubi will release the movie in theaters on November 7. The distributor secured the rights for the project during this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
In honor of the dark comedy’s release, Film Factual is exclusively premiering a still from the project that features supporting actress Sissy Spacek. Besides Spacek, the thriller also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, Nick Nolte and Lakeith Stanfield.
Lynne Ramsey directed ‘Die My Love,’ which is based on the 2012 book of the same name by Ariana Harwicz. The helmer also co-wrote the movie’s script with Enda Walsh and Alice Birc. Andrea Calderwood, Justine Ciarrocchi, Lawrence, Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, Martin Scorsese and Molly Smith served as producers on the film.
‘Die My After’ follows hopeful young and loving couple Grace and Jackson (Lawrence and Pattinson) as they move from New York City to an inherited family home in rural Montana, in order to raise their first child there. As her creative identity disappears under the pressures of motherhood, the banality of domestic life and the terrors of desire, Grace begins to unravel.
