Many people hope they can find the courage to branch out of their comfort zone and expand their horizons during the Christmas season. That’s certainly the case for actor Jefferson White’s character of Chet in the upcoming dramedy, ‘Drink and Be Merry.’
The movie is set in the day s approaching Christmas 2019, a few months before every bar in the country closed its doors indefinitely. As a result, the film is a snapshot of a changing New York and a changing world – one that moves ahead while leaving behind those who are so willfully stuck in the past.
‘Drink and Be Merry’ will be released on Tuesday, December 2. In honor of the feature’s distribution, Film Factual is exclusively premiering the project’s official trailer.
Adam Volerich directed and produced the movie. Leo Winters wrote the script for the dramedy. The film stars Jefferson White (‘Yellowstone’), Shawn Christensen, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Billy Smith, Wharton Tract, Delaney Williams, Brian Anthony Wilson, Casey Wortmann, Sophie Zucker, Pamela Jayne Morgan and Griffin Newman.
At a struggling New York dive bar in the days leading up to Christmas 2019, Chet (White), a beleaguered bartender in a state of extended arrested development, must balance caring for his misanthropic, aging regulars-who have nowhere else to go, and rely on him for far more than pouring drinks-with his naïve desires to muster some Christmas spirit.
