Characters navigating the thin line between passion and responsibility, desire and consequence is often the stimulating driving force in modern romantic dramedies. That’s certainly the case with the genre’s latest entry, ‘A Love Like This.’ The movie shows how complicated and heartbreaking it can be when people allow themselves to want more than the lives they’ve built.
Quiver Distribution will release ‘A Love Like This’ in theaters and on digital this Friday, April 3. In honor of the dramedy’s distribution, Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the project, which is titled ‘Painting.’
Jeffrey Ruggles wrote, and John Asher (‘One Tree Hill’) directed the movie. The feature stars Emmanuelle Chriqui (‘Entourage,’ Netflix’s ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’) and Hayes MacArthur (‘Angie Tribeca,’ Prime’s ‘The Runarounds’). The dramedy also stars Joel Michaely, Jason Caceres, Ray Abruzzo and Joyce Bulifant.
‘A Love Like This’ follows Paul and Leah (MacArthur and Chriqui), a couple tangled in a web of love, lust and lies. Over the course of a long weekend in Malibu, they must come to terms with their past decisions and find out if a deep, burning love is enough to keep them together.
