Audiences are left questioning if they would make the choice to answer the call with the newly released trailer from ‘Knock at the Cabin.’ Universal Pictures unveiled the second official trailer for the upcoming thriller, which will be distributed in theaters on February 3, 2023.
The film was directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who also served as a producer with his frequent collaborators, Marc Bienstock (‘Split,’ ‘Glass’) and Ashwin Rajan (‘Servant,’ ‘Glass’). Along with Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman, Shyamalan also wrote ‘Knock at the Cabin,’ which is based on the 2018 national bestseller, ‘The Cabin at the End of the World,’ by Paul Tremblay.
The screen adaptation stars Dave Bautista (‘Dune,’ ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise), Tony Award and Emmy nominee Jonathan Groff (‘Hamilton,’ ‘Mindhunter’), Ben Aldridge (‘Pennyworth,’ ‘Fleabag’), BAFTA nominee Nikki Amuka-Bird (‘Persuasion,’ ‘Old’), newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn (‘Little Women,’ ‘Landline’) and Rupert Grint (‘Servant,’ ‘Harry Potter’ franchise).
‘Knock at the Cabin’ follows a young girl and her parents who are vacationing at a remote cabin. While there, the family is taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.
