Nicolas Cage is reforming his life, and fighting off his enemies, in the new action Western film, ‘The Old Way.’ In order to do so, his character, Colton Briggs, is forced to team with an unlikely partner — his 12-year-old daughter.

Lionsgate will release the drama in theaters tomorrow, January 6, 2023, and then on Premium Video on Demand and Premium Digital next Friday, January 13. In honor of the movie’s distribution, Lionsgate has unveiled a new clip from the feature, titled ‘He Cries Pretty Good.’

‘The Old Way’ was written by Carl W. Lucas and directed by Brett Donowho. In addition to Cage, the film also stars Noah Le Gros, Clint Howard, Kerry Knuppe, Nick Searcy, Shiloh Fernandez and Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Colton’s daughter, Brooke.

‘The Old Way’ follows Colton, a cold-blooded gunslinger-turned-respectable family man. When an outlaw and his gang put Colton and his family in peril, he’s forced to take up arms with Brooke in this action-filled drama that builds toward its fateful showdown with pulse-pounding suspense.

Fun Film Fact: ‘The Old Way’ marks Cage’s first time starring in a Western movie.
