What starts off as a serene weekend retreat for a group of friends quickly turns deadly as they’re forced to face their most terrifying anxieties in the newly released second official trailer for the upcoming psychological horror film, ‘Fear.’ Hidden Empire Releasing has unveiled the trailer in anticipation of the drama’s distribution in theaters on Friday, January 27.
The movie was directed by genre veteran Deon Taylor, who also wrote the script with John Ferry. Besides helming and scribing ‘Fear,’ Taylor also served as a producer, along with one of the feature’s actors, Tip “T.I.” Harris. In addition to Harris, the film also stars Joseph Sikora Andrew Bachelor, Annie Ilonzeh, Ruby Modine, Iddo Goldberg, Terrence Jenkins and Jessica Allain.
‘Fear’ follows the group of friends as they gather for their much-needed weekend getaway at a remote and historic hotel. But celebration quickly turns into terror as one by one, each guest faces their own worst fear.
“‘Fear’ is a film that explores the mind. Making a film during one of the most fearful times in our lives gave way for some of the most thought-provoking conversations I’ve had as a filmmaker,” said Taylor. “Understanding the impact of fear is something I am intrigued and excited about. It’s a powerful emotion that connects us all.”
