Universal Pictures and M. Night Shyamalan Dare You to Make the Choice with Knock at the Cabin’s New Dolby Poster

Audiences are left questioning if they would make the choice to answer the call with the newly released Dolby poster from ‘Knock at the Cabin.’ Universal Pictures unveiled the poster for the upcoming psychological thriller, which will be distributed in theaters on February 3, 2023.

The horror film was directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who also served as a producer with his frequent collaborators, Marc Bienstock (‘Split,’ ‘Glass’) and Ashwin Rajan (‘Servant,’ ‘Glass’). Along with Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman, Shyamalan also wrote ‘Knock at the Cabin,’ which is based on the 2018 national bestseller, ‘The Cabin at the End of the World,’ by Paul Tremblay.

The screen adaptation stars Dave Bautista (‘Dune,’ ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise), Tony Award and Emmy nominee Jonathan Groff (‘Hamilton,’ ‘Mindhunter’), Ben Aldridge (‘Pennyworth,’ ‘Fleabag’), BAFTA nominee Nikki Amuka-Bird (‘Persuasion,’ ‘Old’), newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn (‘Little Women,’ ‘Landline’) and Rupert Grint (‘Servant,’ ‘Harry Potter’ franchise).

‘Knock at the Cabin’ follows a young girl and her parents who are vacationing at a remote cabin. While there, the family is taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.

Fun Film Fact: The Black List and GLAAD List listed Desmond and Sherman’s initial draft of the movie’s screenplay as one of the most popular unproduced scrips of 2019.
