Actor Jacob Buster is anticipating the long-awaited return of his parents after they were abducted by aliens in the newly released trailer for the upcoming comedy-drama, ‘Aliens Abducted My Parents and Now I Feel Kinda Left Out.’ The trailer was unveiled in honor of the feature’s World Premiere this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival.
Besides Buster, the movie also stars Emma Tremblay, Jacob Kenneth Cummins, Will Forte and Elizabeth Mitchell. The comedy-drama was written by Austin Everett and directed by Jake Van Wagoner.
‘Aliens Abducted My Parents and Now I Feel Kinda Left Out’ follows Itsy Levan (Tremblay), as she becomes devastated by her parents’ decision to leave the city and buy a fixer upper in the middle of nowhere. Her life seems over until she meets her space-obsessed neighbor, Calvin Kipler (Buster). He’s spent most of his life awaiting the next arrival of Jesper’s Comet — partly because of his obsession with Astronomy, but mostly because the last time it came, aliens abducted his parents! This year he’s going to be ready for its return so he can finally get them back.
Itsy sees this as a chance to help her get in to a New York City journalism program, and decides to help him, however crazy his plan seems. They end up discovering much more than what’s on the other end of the comet’s tail.

Fun Film Fact: Van Wagoner lives in Utah, where the Sundance Film Festival is held.
