A grieving widow is summoning a dark spirit with an insatiable desire for revenge in the new horror movie, ‘The Reaper Man.’ The drama is now playing On Digital and On Demand, courtesy of Gravitas Ventures. In honor of the project’s recent release on April 18, Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the feature.
‘The Reaper Man’ was written, directed and executive produced by Tennessee-based filmmaker Jason Lockridge, who previously helmed ‘Succuba’ and ‘Down Bad: Life in the Hood.’ The filmmaker’s latest feature stars Jessica Jai Johnson (‘The Stix’), K.J. Baker (‘Nashville’), Kenon Walker (‘100 Lives’) and Jeff Halton (‘Hongo’).
In ‘The Reaper Man,’ Jessica (Johnson) is left alone, with more questions than answers, after the sudden passing of her husband. Swallowed by grief, she seeks the help of a local woman with a reputation for performing witchcraft. Jessica hopes the woman can return her husband back to her, but the harrowing results aren’t what the widow desired.
