Actor Khalil Everage and actress Indiana Massara are making a choice tonight that will change their lives more than they ever could have imagined in the new comedy, ‘The Crusades.’ Their characters, Sean and Jess, are determined to have an epic night together as their academic and social lives are set to change forever.
VMI Releasing is distributing the movie in theaters and on VOD and Digital today, July 7. In honor of the feature’s release, Film Factual is premiering an exclusive clip from the project, titled ‘Tonight’s the Night.’ In the clip, Sean and Jess met up at a high school dance, during which she informs him that tonight’s the night that their romantic relationship is going to change forever.
‘The Crusades’ was directed by Leo Milano. He also co-wrote the comedy’s script with Jack Hussar and Shaun Early, the latter of whom also served as an executive producer. In addition to Everage and Massara, the movie also stars Rudy Pankow, Ryan Ashton, Anna Maiche, Ashley Nicole Williams, Blaine Maye, Peter Siewerth, Greg Davis Jr., Hope Quattrocki, Mike Starr and Nicholas Turturro.
‘The Crusades’ shows that for many, high school is supposed to be defined by wild parties, backseat hook-ups and a devil-may-care attitude. But, when three friends at Our Lady of the Crusades, an all-boys high school, receive earth-shattering news about an upcoming merger with their rivals, they make a pact to have one last, epic weekend before their lives turn upside down.
Along the way, however, they unknowingly make a dangerous enemy, “The Wrecking Crew”, hell-bent on settling their vendetta at all costs. While dodging the authorities, love affairs and their sadistic archrivals, the choices the three friends make over the weekend might end up changing their lives more than they ever could have imagined.
