Gerard Butler is being tasked to destroy the nuclear program of America’s enemies in Iran in this year’s acclaimed action movie, ‘Kandahar.’ But if his mission isn’t a total success, he’ll have to fight to make sure his own life isn’t also demolished in the rubble.
That struggle is chronicled in the drama’s new home release. ‘Kandahar,’ which is now available on Digital, is also being released on Blu-ray and DVD today, July 18, by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
In honor of the project digital and disc distribution, Film Factual is offering two lucky winners a digital code to watch the feature on Movies Anywhere. To enter the giveaway, follow us on Facebook or Twitter (also find us using @FilmFactualSite on both websites). DM us on either account and let us know that you’re entering to win the ‘Kandahar’ digital code giveaway in the message. You have until Friday, July 28 to enter, and you can DM us once daily on each account. On July 28, we’ll pick the winners at random, and notify them through DM on each account. Good luck!
The thriller was written by Mitchell LaFortune and Ric Roman Waugh, the latter of whom also served as the director. ‘Kandahar’ was produced by Basil Iwanyk, Brendon Boyea, Erica Lee, Butler, Alan Siegel, Christian Mercuri, Ali Jaafar, Scott LaStaiti. In addition to Butler, the movie also stars Navid Negahban, Ali Fazal, Travis Fimmel and Elnaaz Norouzi.
In ‘Kandahar,’ Tom Harris (Butler), an undercover CIA operative, is stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in the titular city in Afghanistan, all whilst avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down.
