Thirsty Exclusive Clip Features Kyra Sedgwick and Jamie Neumann Debating Political Campaign Strategies

The most determined women who fights to win a vital role in society are often driven by the same experiences and personality. Kyra Sedgwick and Jamie Neumann’s characters in the upcoming campaign drama, ‘Thirsty,’ are both motivated to overcome their complicated families and endure whatever it takes to become – and stay – prominent female politicians.

Following its successful film festival run, ‘Thirsty’ will be released on all digital platforms this Friday, June 6, courtesy of Gravitas Ventures. In honor of the feature’s distribution, Film Factual is debuting an exclusive clip from the project.

‘Thirsty’ was written and directed by Emily Abt (‘Toe to Toe’). In addition to Sedgwick and Neumann, the award-winning movie also stars Sung Kang (‘Fast & Furious‘), Tyler Lepley (‘Harlem’), Thora Birch (‘Ghost World’) and Brandee Evans (‘P-Valley’).

In ‘Thirsty,’ a tenacious defense attorney embarks on a high stakes campaign to beat the incumbent mayor of Oakland. As election day approaches, she must reconcile the seduction of the political game with her own moral compass or risk losing it all.
