A24 is heading to San Diego Comic-Con with a major presentation for Adam Wingard’s upcoming action thriller ‘Onslaught.’ The appearance brings the filmmaker and several members of the feature’s ensemble to Ballroom 20 ahead of its fall theatrical release.

Wingard will appear alongside stars Adria Arjona, Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall and Drew Starkey during a panel moderated by filmmaker Kevin Smith. The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, at 5:30pm in Ballroom 20 at the San Diego Convention Center.

‘Onslaught’ follows an Army sniper who’s forced into a fight for survival. The battle comes after a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers escapes into the desert, which ultimately threatens her young daughter.

The drama reunites Wingard with longtime collaborator Simon Barrett, who penned the screenplay from a story by the pair. The duo previously teamed on such genre favorites as ‘V/H/S/2,’ ‘You’re Next’ and ‘The Guest.’

Besides Arjona, Stevens, Hall, and Starkey, ‘Onslaught’ also stars Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson, Michael Biehn and Alex Pereira. Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swett, Wingard, Jeremy Platt, Alexander Black and Barrett also served as producers on the movie.

A24 has also released the thriller’s official trailer and key art ahead of the Comic-Con presentation. ‘Onslaught’ will open exclusively in theaters on September 4, 2026.
