Uncork’d Entertainment Acquires Distribution Rights to Filmmaker Owen Conway’s Horror Western Ghost Town

Uncork’d Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights for the new horror western, ‘Ghost Town.’ The movie’s executive producer, Robert Conway, negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers with Keith Leopard, the President of Uncork’d Entertainment. The distributor has scheduled the drama to be released in March.

Owen Conway wrote and made his feature film directorial debut on ‘Ghost Town.’ Besides penning and helming the western, the filmmaker also stars in the feature, alongside Hamilton (‘Death Kiss’), Becky Jo Harris (‘Spiked’) and Amelia Haberman (‘The Covenant’).
 
“‘Ghost Town’ is a remarkable achievement…because it combines two genres that don’t normally cross – horror and the western,” Leopard said. “The film will really put Owen Conway on the map as a filmmaker to watch.”

Set in Arizona in 1877, ‘Ghost Town’ follows a drifter who takes a job as a barman. After a series of bizarre and horrifying deaths, he becomes the target of suspicion. Desperate to escape the noose, he’s soon finds himself at the center of a supernatural mystery that plagues the town.

Film Fact: ‘Ghost Town’ was shot during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
