Cleopatra Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer and poster for the upcoming folk horror film, ‘The Long Dark Trail.’ The distributor shared the drama’s assets in support of the feature’s upcoming premiere in the U.S., UK and Canada on Digital, DVD and Blu-ray on February 21.

‘The Long Dark Trail’ was written and directed by Kevin Ignatius and Nick Psinakis. The movie stars Trina Campbell and Brady O’Donnell.

A mix of ‘Stand By Me’ and ‘Midsommar,’ ‘The Long Dark Trail’ follows two impoverished teenage brothers as they manage to escape their abusive father. They decide to embark on a treacherous and haunted journey in the hope of finding their estranged mother, who has joined a sadistic cult, deep in the woods of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Fun Film Fact: ‘The Long Dark Trail’ was an official selection at several prestige film festivals around the world, including Weekend of Fear and The Festival De Cannes Blood Windoal Selection.
