Just one editor has been nominated this year before, and that’s Mikkel E.G. Nielsen, up this year for The Banshees of Inisherin and the winner two years ago for Sound of Metal. At the American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards this coming weekend, The Banshees of Inisherin faces off against Everything Everywhere All at Once in the comedy category, while Elvis, Tár,and Top Gun: Maverick compete in drama. Paul Rogers has taken home the corresponding prize from groups including BAFTA and the Critics Choice Association for Everything Everywhere All at Once.
