Nine Black Cats’ Trailer Reveals Filmmaker Chris Zuhdi’s Neo-Noir Thriller

The official trailer for ‘Nine Black Cats’ has arrived, offering a first look at filmmaker Chris Zuhdi’s neo-noir conspiracy thriller before its theatrical debut. The film will open in New York City on Friday, August 21, with additional cities set to follow.

Zuhdi wrote, directed, produced, edited and stars in the drama. ‘Nine Black Cats’ features an ensemble cast that also includes Hannah Brantley, MC Dillon, Sean Frost, Megan Grace, Bryce Barfield, Ashley Adair and Courtney Herbst.

The trailer previews a stylish blend of noir-inspired visuals, suspense and conspiracy-driven mystery. ‘Nine Black Cats’ follows a suspended police officer and a lonely waitress who become unlikely partners after a brutal nightclub murder leads them to a mysterious glowing blue powder. As they investigate further, they uncover a masked conspiracy operating beneath the city’s streets, forcing them into a dangerous search for the truth.

Behind the camera, Justan Floyd served as director of photography, while Caitlin Dodge handled production design. The original score was composed by Stephen Tackett and Josh Tackett, helping shape the movie’s atmospheric tone.
