Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned Sets October Digital and On Demand Release

Saban Films is bringing a terrifying new take on Emily Brontë’s classic tale to audiences this fall. ‘Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned’ will be available on Digital and On Demand beginning October 16.

Rebecca J. Matthews directed and produced the horror film. The film was written by Liana Failla, and is based on Brontë’s iconic novel ‘Wuthering Heights.’ The drama reimagines the haunting romance of Catherine and Heathcliff as a supernatural tale of vengeance, obsession, bloodlust and sacrifice. The movie stars Ross Townsend-Green, Sky Cheema, Elle O’Hara and Nicola Wright.

In ‘Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned,’ Mr. Lockwood (Townsend-Green) arrives at the remote and storm-battered Wuthering Heights. Along the way, he’s unaware that Catherine’s (O’Hara) vengeful ghost continues to walk the halls of the isolated estate.

Meanwhile, Catherine’s obsessed lover, Heathcliff (Cheema), is determined to satisfy her bloodlust through human sacrifice. His ultimate goal is to give Catherine’s soul a new body, allowing their twisted love to continue beyond death.

As Lockwood’s stay at Wuthering Heights takes a disturbing turn, he begins to grow increasingly sick and delusional. Drawn deeper into Catherine and Heathcliff’s deadly, undying relationship, Lockwood must find a way to escape the estate before he becomes their next victim.

With its combination of classic gothic romance and supernatural horror, ‘Wuthering Heights: House of the Damned’ puts a bloody new spin on one of literature’s most enduring love stories.
