A terrifying homecoming takes center stage in the upcoming genre-bending thriller ‘Return to Fear.’ The film blends paranormal encounters, creature horror and psychological suspense into a chilling story of trauma, survival and supernatural dread.
The drama’s trailer introduces a disturbing journey into the depths of fear, following a woman who returns home after experiencing a life-altering trauma. Hoping to move forward, she instead finds herself confronting haunting memories and a resurging malevolence that threatens her life. As the line between psychological torment and supernatural terror begins to blur, her fight for survival becomes increasingly relentless.
Michael J. Sarna directed the movie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Justin L. Ross. Sarna also produced the thriller alongside Leslie Barker and George Johnsen.
‘Return to Fear’s cast features Alex Veadov, who’s known for his roles in ‘The Equalizer’ and ‘Act of Valor.’ He’s joined on screen by Jolene Andersen, who appeared in ‘Hellraiser: Revelations.’ Leslie Barker and Stephanie Bates also star in the new film.
As the title suggests, escaping the past may prove impossible. For the film’s protagonist, survival will depend on confronting the darkness that has followed her home – and whatever lies beyond her own haunting memories.
